At a Party
The Man Yelled aloud and He said, “Help! I am Stuck in the Guide Section of the
Cable Television. And all the Information about The Channels say, ‘To Be
Announced. This an Emergency,” and Then The Man started doing Pushups, while at
The Same Time He Loudly said, “Seven, Nine, Three Thousand, and Ten Thousand
and One. Now I’m done with Today’s Pushups.”
And More of My Writings:
The Man said, “That is The Tip of The Iceberg.
And that is The Metaphorical Tip of The Iceberg. And those are The Tips of The
Icebergs. And those are The Metaphorical Tips of The Icebergs. And that is an
Indication and/or some Indications and/or an Indicator and/or an Indicators [

From The Christian Science Monitor in a March 4, 2017 Article written by Ellen Powell, Entitled, “Why Keystone XL pipeline won't buy US steel, despite Trump's order”: “Keystone builder TransCanada will be allowed to skirt an executive order calling for US steel to be used in new pipelines, repairs, or retrofits. Does the move herald a broader evolution for Trump’s 'America First' stance?” And, “From the start of President Trump’s election campaign, two aspects of his political identity – the businessman and the populist – have dueled for dominance.” And, from that same Article, “ ‘The value of a pipeline is that we have a pipeline that can be used. Which steel it is made from is an entirely subsidiary question,’ wrote Forbes contributor Tim Worstall, senior fellow at the Adam Smith Institute, in an opinion piece.”
The
Following is a Quote from Someone, and it is also often True: “History is
Written by The Victors.”
Here is a
Joke that I Wrote:
The Woman said to Her Child, “Jimmy, it’s Time to go to Bed.
It’s Bedtime.” And Jimmy replied, “But You need to get a Court Order to have Me
go to Bed.” And Jimmy’s Mom said, “What?! No, I don’t Need to get a Court
Order. Don’t You Want to go to Bed?” And Jimmy said, “I can’t go to Bed without
a Court Order. And I will Not Pass out and go to Sleep that way without a Court
Order. And it’s Not Possible for Me to go to Bed without a Court Order. Or
Maybe I need a Law Passed by Congress in Order to go to Bed or to know what to
think. A Law or a Court Order saying that I should Now go to Bed would be The
Only Thing that would Change My Mind. And I need a Court Order or a Law in
order to Know what to Think.” And then Jimmy’s Dad came into Jimmy’s Bedroom,
and Jimmy’s Dad said, “Go to Bed right Now, Jimmy. Obey Me and Your Mom!” And
Jimmy replied, “But I Need a Court Order.”

Some
Information about Me:
I
am a Cleveland High School Graduate. And I am a Georgetown University Alumnus.
Mr. Yellow Apple goes to The Zoo. Written by Brandon Katrena.
My Name is Mr. Yellow Apple, and I’m a Yellow Apple. And My Friends’ names are Jimmy and His Daughter, Laura.
“Let’s go to the Zoo today,” I said to Jimmy and Laura. “Ok,” they replied in unison.
We parked our Car, and Jimmy paid for Our Tickets at the Zoo.
I said, “Look at all these People at the Zoo. Why aren’t they all Wearing Hats or Carrying Umbrellas in case it Rains?” And My Friend Jimmy Replied, “Because Mr. Yellow Apple, it may Not Rain, and they have the Freedom to Choose whether or Not to wear hats or carry Umbrellas.” “Ok,” I replied.
“Is that animal a Tiger? It has Four Legs, and Two Eyes, and a Tail, so it must be a Tiger,” I said. And Laura said, “No, Mr. Yellow Apple, that is an Elephant. While a Tiger has some characteristics of an Elephant, a Tiger is a Tiger, and an Elephant is an Elephant.”
“Let’s stop and get a Drink of Water at the Fountain. Why don’t they put Soda instead of Water in the Water Fountain? I’d rather have Soda right now than Water.” And Jimmy said to Me, “Because Not everyone can drink Soda, Mr. Yellow Apple.”
I said, “Look at that Animal! It must be a Lion, because it has Blonde Hair.” And Jimmy said, “No, that Animal is a Cheetah, and it can Run Very Fast.”
“That animal must be a Wolf, because it sort of Looks like a Wolf.” And Laura said, “No, that animal is a Fox, even though it sort of Looks like a Wolf.”
“What if it Rains?” I asked. And Jimmy said, “I brought Umbrellas in case it Rains, Mr. Yellow Apple.
“Look at that Animal. It must be a Fish, because it’s in the Water,” I said. “No, that animal is a Polar Bear, and He eats Fish,” Jimmy told Me.
I asked, “Why isn’t that Hot Dog Stand also selling Ice Cream?” And Jimmy told Me, “Because that is probably the Owner’s Choice whether or Not to Sell Ice Cream too. Maybe Not enough people would buy Ice Cream from Him, which is called Supply and Demand.”
“Is that animal a Porcupine?” I asked. And Jimmy said, “Yes, that animal is a Porcupine. And Porcupines were made with Quills on their Bodies to help protect themselves from Predators.”
We then walked back to Our Car in the Parking Lot, and We drove back Home.
“What an Eventful Day today. I’m Hungry. Let’s have Lunch,” I said. And Laura asked Me, “Mr. Yellow Apple, What would You like to eat?” And I replied, “Anything but a Yellow Apple.”

and, for dessert, Baked Alaska.

Written by Brandon Katrena
My Name is Brandon. And, as is the case with Your Family, My Family is a Good Family. And everyone has at least one Good Family Member (FM).
My Mom is a Real Estate Agent, also known as a Realtor. And She has been a Member of that Profession for over 20 Years. She is a Great Woman, and a Great Person, and She is a Wonderful Mother. I like My Mother.
My Dad has Worked at Management, Sales, and He was a Truck Driver, delivering Goods to People. Like My Mom, My Dad helps take Good Care of Me, and I remember Him Making Lots of Meals and Lunches for Me. I like My Dad.
I like My Parents. I am Good to Them. And They are Good to Me. And We are Good to each other.
My Brothers are Younger than Me. And they are Hard Workers. I like My Brothers.
About 6 of My Family Members Graduated from The Same High School. And also about 6 of My Family Members Attended or Graduated from The Same College. And I have Family Members who have been Members of Many Professions. I like My Family Members (FM).
My Aunts are also Hard Working, and Caring. And one of Them Worked at a Medical Supplies Company helping Individuals who were in Distress. I like My Aunts.
My Uncles are also Hard Working, and one of them Graduated from the same High School that I did. And one of Them owns a Business, and another one also Works Very Hard. And One of My Uncles was an Executive of a Company. I like My Uncles.
My Grandmas are also Very Hardworking. One of My Grandmas Won a “Who’s Who” Award, and She owned a Successful Business, and She was a Business Person. And another of My Grandmas was a Nurse, and She Graduated from a College. I like My Grandmas.
My Grandpas are also Very Hardworking. As is the case with several of My other Family Members, one of My Grandpas worked in The Military. And Two of My Grandpas owned Their Owned Businesses, and They Were Business Men. I like My Grandpas.
I like My Grandparents.
My Cousins Work in a Variety of Professions, from Nursing to a Variety of Work. I like My Cousins.

One day My Dad, Anthony, taught Me how to Tie My Shoes, and He told Me, “Mike, it is Important that Your Shoes are Tied, so that You don’t Trip and Fall down.”
My Mother, Elizabeth, is a Realtor. She Helps People Buy and Sell Houses, and She had to Pass a Test and a Background Check before She was got Her Realtor’s License, which She has to Renew every so often.
My Dad, Anthony, is a Truck Driver, and He delivers Products to Stores.
When I grow up, I want to either be a Writer or a Doctor, and Maybe I will be Both.
My Mom and My Dad frequently tell Me to get Plenty of Sleep, and I have a Bedtime.
In School, I learn a lot of Stuff, and by the Time that I graduate from High School, I will have been in School for about 14 years. I like going to School, and learning stuff from Teachers, and meeting with My Friends.
I also like to Read, and if I become a Writer, I will be able to Write Books that other People will be able to Read.
Mom and Dad give Me Chores to do at Home, and I do a Good Job completing My Chores.
There are a lot of Funny Cartoons on Television, which I like to watch when I’m Not doing My Homework.
My Mom and My Dad and My other Family Members make sure that I eat plenty of Good Foods.
We have a Dog named Charlie, and He makes Me Laugh.

Snoozing Ted
Written by Brandon Katrena
“Watch Out! And Don’t Run so Fast around the House,” I told Ted, Our Saint Bernard Dog.
By the Way, My Name is Brandon.
Mom and I watched Ted Chow Down and Eat some Dog Food. And then Ted drank a lot of Water.
“It is Time to Go Outside,” I said to Ted, as I let Him Outside in the Fenced Backyard.
Later on in the Day, Mom and I went with Our Dog, Ted, and Our other Dog, Buddy, for a walk around The Block.
Ted and Buddy Play Together.
Chow Time again, Ted and Buddy. And Both Dogs ate their Food as if they Had Never ate Before. Time to drink that Water, too.
“Stop Running outside,” I said to Ted, who was Running in Our Fenced Backyard.
Time for Ted and Buddy to Play with some Dog Chewing Toys.
Then Ted went to Sleep. Snoozing Ted therefore showed Me by His Sleeping what He wanted to do: Snooze, Snooze, and Snooze some More. And He caught His Zzzzzzzzzzs.

What does Mom Want? Written by

My name is Sam. And My Mother’s name is Sarah.
One day, My Mother asked, “I want something. Can You guess what it is, Sam?”
And I said, “Do you want some Peanuts?” And My Mom replied, “You know that I’m allergic to Peanuts, Sam. That’s Not what I want.”
“Do You want it to Rain?” And My Mother said, “What are You Mother Nature, Silly?” And My Mother tickled Me, and We both Laughed.
And I said, “Do You want a Dog?” And My Mother said, “We already have a Cat, and Dogs and Cats often don’t get along well together. That’s Not what I want, Sam. Keep guessing.”
“Do You want a Dress? Or a Coat?” I asked. And Mom replied: “No and No, although those are Good Guesses, Sam.”
“Do you want to go back to school?” And Mom replied, “I’ve already been to school for 14 years, although that is a Good Guess, Sam.”
And I asked, “Do You want it to Rain?” And My Mom said, “There is Snow on the Ground, and Rain and Snow create Ice. That’s Not what I want, Sam.”
“Would You like another Car?” And Mom said, “We already have a Car, Sam. I would have to spend extra money on Insurance for another Car. Keep on Guessing, Sam.”
“Do You want to go to the Moon? Or to the Sun?” And Mom said, “Both places would be Dangerous to go to, and I definitely don’t want to go to the Sun.”
And I asked, “Do You want a Pen?” And My Mother replied, “We have Plenty of Pens around the House to Write things with.”
My Mother then said, “I want Two things from You, Sam.” And My Mother said, “I want a Hug.” And She gave Me a Great Big Hug. And then She said, “And I want a Smile.” And My Mom smiled at Me. And I smiled back.

“It’s OK to Rest, Ted.”
Written by Brandon Katrena
My Name is Brandon, and as He often does, Our Saint Bernard Dog, Ted, was Speaking to We Family Members through His Barking while at the same time Running around Our House.
Mom said, “It’s Time to go for a Walk,” and then Our Other Dog, Buddy, and Ted (also known sometimes as “Teddy”) got their Leashes on.
Mom, Ted, Buddy, and I walked on the sidewalk together around the block.
“Slow Down, Ted,” Mom said, as Ted chased after a Bird.
“You are going too Fast, Ted,” Mom and I both said during the course of Our Walk.
At Home, Our Puppy, Ted, ran all around the House, making a Big Ol’ Mess. As You probably already know, Ol’ is an abbreviated/shortened word for “Old”.
“Ted, Go to Sleep,” I told Our Saint Bernard Dog.
Ted was Excited when He saw one of My Brothers, and Ted spilled His Dog Food all over the floor.
Buddy and Ted then took their Daily Nap.
Then Ted and Buddy were up and at it again, with Both of each other Chasing each other in Our Backyard.
About an hour later, Buddy and Ted got a bath in the bathtub, and I dried them off with a dry towel.
Ted was exhausted for the day, and He went to sleep.
I then whispered to Ted, “It’s OK to Rest, Ted.”

The Following are Some More of My Writings:
“Baby, the Funny Dog”.
Written by Brandon Katrena.
There once was a Pomeranian Dog named Baby. Baby, the
Funny Dog.
One of Baby the
Dog’s Favorite Pastimes is Watching People Cut up Food, although He likes it
Better when He gets to eat that Food.
Mom said to Baby the Dog, “Read Your Bone, Baby.” And
Baby said aloud, “If I could read My Bone, instead of Just Eating it, I would
be Literate. Think how much a Literate Dog could bring in. But what do I know?
All I can do is Speak aloud.”
Mom
said, “Baby, Carry that Drink to Brandon.” And Baby the Dog said, “I would if I
could; however, I do Not have Opposable Thumbs.”
Baby the Dog said, “I
heard there’s a Party going on around here. Where’s The Party?”
Mom said, “I am going to
Park in a Shady place and leave the Air Conditioning on, Baby, while You
briefly stay in the Car with Brandon.” And Baby the Dog said, “Mom, I don’t
want to stay in a Shady Place, as Shady things may Happen there.” And Mom
replied, “By Shady, I mean a Place with a Tree that causes Shade.” And Baby
said, “Oh, I thought that You meant Shady as in Questionable. Ok, I understand
now.”
Baby
the Dog said, “Where are you going when You’re Walking on that Treadmill?”
Baby
the Dog said, “Where’s My Mail?”
Baby the Dog said, “Mom,
I don’t Understand Business. All I Understand is Love.”
Baby the Dog said, “Why didn’t You give Me a Piece of Cheese?”
A Man rolled up His Car
Window, and Baby the Dog asked, “Why did You Roll up the Car’s Window?” And The
Man replied, “Because it’s Raining, Baby.” And Baby the Dog said, “Oh, oh Ok. I
understand Now.”
The
Man turned off the Television with His Remote Control, and He said, “What an
Eventful Day Today. Well, the News is Over.” And Baby the Dog said, “The News
is over? What about Tomorrow’s News?” And The Man replied, “Of course the News
is Not Really over, Baby. There will always be News. And there will always be
News to Watch, to Listen to, and to Read.” And Baby the Dog said, “I can do the
First Two Things, and I’m working on The Third.”
“Ted’s First Birthday
Party”. Written by Brandon Katrena
My name is Brandon, and Our Dog’s Name is Ted, also
known as Teddy. He is a Saint Bernard Dog.
Ted’s Birthday is November 7th, and We
Celebrated His Birthday at a Park, with Family and Friends and Great Foods and
Drinks.
“Ted, Smile for the Camera,” I said as Mom and I took
His Picture with Family and Friends.
Good thing We brought our Coats, as it was Raining
that Day.
Mom said, paraphrasing, “Ted, here is Your
Girlfriend,” about a Female Dog that a Friend brought with Her.
There was Great Tasting Mexican Food, including Rice,
Beans, Chicken, Enchiladas, Chips and Salsa. Yum.
I made sure that Our Guests were reminded that We had
Bottles of Water to Drink.
There was Fun had by all.
Ted even got a Specially Made Birthday Cake for His
First Birthday Party.
Ted is aware that He is Part of The Family.
Birthdays are also Good Events to Talk with Family and
Friends.
Mom and I saw some Friends that We hadn’t seen in
Years. And Many of The Friends who came to Ted’s Birthday Party are also Our
Social Network Friends.
Friends who have Dogs were given some Dog Food to take
Home to Their Dogs.

“Buddy the Dog Speaks”.
Written by Brandon Katrena.
One of My Dog’s Name is Buddy. Buddy the Dog.
Buddy
the Dog Likes to Play Board Games.
Buddy the Dog was Repeatedly Scratching at the Couch,
as He was Digging for Imaginary Bones.
When I poured My Dog, whose name is Buddy the Dog,
some Dry Dog Food from a Bag, My Dog Looked at Me as if to Ask, “What is that?
Would you eat that? Where is the Steak? What are you trying to Pull?”
A Woman asked a Man, “Ask Buddy the Dog if He Wants to
Go Outside.” And The Man said, “I Don’t Think that Buddy will Answer Me, and
I’ll put Him Outside Anyway.”
Buddy the Dog got a
brainscan.
A
Man asked Buddy the Dog, “Buddy, Which Beauty Pageant Contestant do you Want to
Win?” And Buddy the Dog said, “The one who will give Me a Piece of Roast Beef.”
A
Man said to Buddy The Dog, “Buddy The Dog, You are My Buddy, and Buddy The Dog,
You are Good, and You are a Good Buddy.”
Buddy
The Dog went Out The Door of a House, and a Woman said, “Buddy The Dog, please
close the door behind you. And Don’t forget to call Me on Your Cellphone if You
Need Anything. And Don’t Play in Traffic.”
A
Man said to Buddy the Dog, “I like that you are also a Brindle Dog.”
A
Man said to Buddy The Dog, “You have a Good Head on Your Shoulders, if You have
Shoulders.”
A
Man said, “Buddy The Dog, where are you?” The Man then Picked Up Buddy’s Collar
with Buddy’s ID Tag on It, and, while Moving the ID Tag Up and Down, The Man
said, “Buddy, I hear your Collar’s ID Tag Jangling, so you must be close By.
Where are you?”
Buddy
the Dog said, “Mom, I want to see you put My food on My plate right after you
open up the can. I don’t want worming medication in My food again.”
Buddy the Dog said, “I'm tired of eating Dog Food.”
Some
of Buddy the Dog’s hair is Coarse, Rough, and Hard, and some of Buddy the Dog’s
hair is Soft. And this is also a
Metaphor about Many Important Things in Life.
Buddy the Dog said, “I’m 21 years of age in Dog
Years, so stop treating Me like I am a Baby.”
My Mom was so Proud of Buddy the Dog when He
ate a Bite of Apple. It does Not take
much for Mom to be Proud of Buddy the Dog, as Buddy is Part of The Family.
Buddy the Dog, even when He is upstairs, and
when I’m downstairs, almost always knows when to come downstairs when I get
pieces of salami from the Refrigerator.
And I usually given Him some Pieces of Salami.
Buddy the Dog said, “I’m your Uncle and your
Brother at the same time.”
Mom said to Buddy, “Buddy, eat your Dog Food.
There are Hungry Dogs around The World who would be Happy to have a Meal.” And
Buddy the Dog said, “Then let’s Put My Dog Food in Envelopes and Mail it to
Them.”
A
Man said to Buddy the Dog: “You have it very Good Here. Never Run away from
Home, Buddy the Dog. You live like Royalty, and you live like a King in
comparison to Most People. The World can be a Very Scary and a Very Mean Place,
which is something that you do not fully understand, which is why you try to
run away.”
“Teddy Copper Topper, the Ice Cream Eater”
Written by Brandon Katrena
My name is Brian. And I have a Saint Bernard Dog named
Teddy Copper Topper. And sometimes He gets into Trouble.
Mom sometimes yells at Teddy, “Get out of the Garbage
can!” And Teddy usually minds Her.
Teddy Copper Topper is just a Puppy right Now, and
when He grows up He will get Real Big.
Teddy is a Good Dog, and He often Barks when someone
comes knocking on the Front Door.
Ted likes to Play with Our other Dog, Buddy, although
our Cat, Adrian, does Not like to Play with Our Dogs.
Dad and I tried teaching Teddy how to Sit down when We
asked Him to, although We think that Ted is too Young to Understand.
Our Two Dogs like to Run in Our Yard and Play.
Ted frequently eats and sleeps, and He is growing up
day by day.
Our Family has a Leash for our Two Dogs, and We
frequently take them for Walks together.
Ted likes to go Swimming in Our Bathtub. And sometimes
our other Dog, Buddy, Howls like a Wolf. And Mom told Me that Dogs and Wolves
are Cousins.
I once asked Ted, “What are You doing looking at that
Hamburger, Ted? Are You Hungry?”
I then gave Teddy some Vanilla Ice Cream, and that is
how He got His Name, Teddy Copper Topper, the Ice Cream Eater.

In one of My Writings, The Man said, “As History Shows, Civilizations tend to
Fall when there is a widespread Fear of The Truth. And The Truth should be
Embraced. And The Truth should be Embraced Economically, Socially, and
Politically. And, as News Reports indicate -- which can also be found on
Internet Searches -- in the Year 2016, an Estimated 66 Percent of The
Population had a Type of Herpes. And More Diseases are becoming Increasingly Drug
Resistant. And Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) are becoming More and More
Widespread. And The Truth should be Embraced.”
